The tour starts with pick up from your hotel and transfer to the boat jetty in the capital city. Board an open deck local wooden boat and cruise along the Brunei River passing the Water Village. Along the way, boat will pass through fishing village, Fish farm along the river bank, and head to Brunei bay.


Upon reaching Selirong Island, which is an protected Mangrove Forest.we will start to cruise slowly under the mangrove trees where you can witness the wonder of the mangrove world which is the cradle for a myriads of marine’s life. You will have the chance to see a unique fish that can live underwater as well as on land – the mudskipper hopping around on the muddy river banks searching for food. If you are lucky, you will also have the chance to witness the blue throated and the small red kingfishers taking a killer plunge into the water to catch small fishes. The white egret and night heron are also common sights during this tour. We will make a few stops under the mangrove trees and on the look out for the rare endangered species primate – the proboscis monkey which usually comes near to the water in the early morning and at dusk time. The odd looking monkey where the male have a large bright orange coloured pendulous nose can only be found on the island of Borneo and Sumatera of Indonesia. The unique thing about the proboscis monkey in Brunei is that you don’t have to travel far in the jungle to see them.
Along the walk way, we can get up close with the mangrove Forest and it habitat like flying fox, lemur,monitor izard and etc. Enjoy the tranquility of the Mangrove forest before head back to hotel. Tour End.

Pick up from hotel and drive to the south eastern part of Brunei. This is the agriculture heart land of Brunei. Along the way, your guide will introduce to you the various type of vegetation or forest. Take a rest at a natural “lake” called Luagan Lalak. Which is an alluvial fresh water swamp? During this trip you will see mile and mile of Rainforest before reaching Labi. Labi is where you can see huge rice field, Green orange farm, Papaya farm and many other local fruit tree. Tour also include visit to an Iban long house. Here learn about the lifestyle of Brunei native people. A visit to Labi is not complete without taking a short trek into Virgin rainforest. Duration: 9 hours include Lunch

7 am pick up from Hotel and transfer to jetty. Upon registration, embark on a public ferry boat for 45 minutes like boat ride to Bangar/ Temburong. Boat will pass through River channel, Mangrove Island similar to Amazon River of Brazil.

Meet and greet by local guide at Banger Jetty. A brief stop for Nature call or last minute buying of titbits and drink before going into the Rainforest. Transfer overland to Batang Duri where your Rainforest trip begins. At Batang Duri, briefing on river safety by guide before getting into a local open motorised canoe called Temuai for an adventure boat ride to Ulu Temburong National Park. At the Park, register and take a slow guided 1200meter walk on gentle slope into the pristine Rainforest. Along the way, please take plenty of stop to enjoy the environment. Drink lot of water to hydrate yourself. Before you knew it you already reach the base of the Canopy Walkway. Climb up about 10 storey for a bird eye view of Rainforest canopy. There after retreat back to park for a picnic lunch.
After lunch, pack up and proceed to a water fall for a dip before retreat way back to Bangar Jetty to catch a public boat back to town jetty.
Transfer back to Hotel. Tour End

5 pm pick up from hotel and transfer to jetty for you sunset River Cruise on Brunei River. Cruising by the world largest Malay Water Village locally called “ Kampong Ayer” which was once refer to as “Venice of the East” by early European explorer.

Kampong Ayer extends out over the Brunei River from both banks, and is home to around 30,000 people. Even four centuries ago, the size and complexity of Kampong Ayer greatly impressed the Magellan expedition, which received a stately welcome upon entering Brunei Bay in 1521. Although most of the houses on stilts are now furnished with every modern amenity, a traditionally colorful and lively atmosphere remains. Soon your river scenery will change in to Mangrove Riverine scene.

Itinerary
Your journey begins with a 45 minutes boat ride from Bandar Seri Begawan to Bangar town. An overland transfer to the Forest Reserve passing by orchards and the native rice fields. Upon reaching Bukit Patoi Nature reserve, sign in before taking a guided rainforest trek. Learn about the forest ecosystem, possible sight of some birds, unique insect and sometimes even wildlife. Further up will bring you up with steps reaching the unique geological rock formation before the peak of Bukit Patoi. Enjoy a sense of achievement at the peak of Bukit Patoi. Reward with a panaromic view of Rainforest canopy all the way your eye can see. Visit one of the longhouses to experience feelings of living in a village under one roof and be among the Bornean natives whose ancestors were once headhunters. The Water Village (Malay: Kampong Ayer) is a district of Brunei's capital city Bandar Seri Begawan. 30,000 people live in the Water Village. This represents roughly ten percent of the nation's total population. All of the Water Village buildings are constructed on stilts above the Brunei River.
Private water taxis provide rapid transit.. The district has a unique architectural heritage of wooden homes with ornate interiors.People have lived in Kampong Ayer for over 1300 years. Antonio Pigafetta dubbed it the Venice of the East when the fleet of Ferdinand Magellan visited in 1521. The district is a culturally important part of Brunei that preserves the nation's river dwelling origins.
