Itinerary

Brunei is blessed with abundance wildlife due to it mostly undisturbed forest like mangrove forests that line along the Brunei river. Brunei River cruise in an open water taxi to the mangrove channels in the Brunei River in search of the elusive proboscis monkeys, an endangered and protected species which only found in Borneo. Other wildlife sighted during most cruises are Egret, Long Tail Macaques, Monitor lizard that climb tree, Mangrove Snake, Otter, white bellied Sea Eagle, salt water crocodile, King Fisher. Depend on tide & time you may also see local villagers doing fishing using traditional method. During this Cruise we also pass by the Royal Palace, our guide will be please to ask boatman to stop for a while for you to take picture of Royal Palace upon your request. Continue the cruise by the Water Village, generally recognized as the world's largest water village, Kampong Ayer extends out over the Brunei River from both banks, and is home to around 30,000 people. Even four centuries ago, the size and complexity of Kampong Ayer greatly impressed the Magellan expedition, which received a stately welcome upon entering Brunei Bay in 1521. Although most of the houses on stilts are now furnished with every modern amenity, a traditionally colourful and lively atmosphere remains.
